On April 22, 1987

U.S. Supreme Court upholds death penalty in McCleskey v. Kemp despite proof it is racially biased, reasoning that racial discrimination in the criminal justice is “inevitable.”

There are so many things wrong with this.  What if you are the lucky “inevitable” prisoner?  I’m shocked to see that the Supreme Court supports racism because it is “inevitable.”
